After a long wait, I finally knew that I had over 4500 hrs of project management experience to finally qualify for PMP Certification.
My journey started at PMI's site. I did another cross check by reading PMI’s Examination Information, Policies and Procedures, Credential Terms of Use and finally a section with Credential Application Forms. I was ready to fill up my application at PMP credential page. But before I could apply, I had to pay…
Basic Information:
PMP Exam - PMI Member = $405
PMP Exam - Nonmember = $555
PMP Membership fee
FYI: $555 > $405 + $ PMP Membership fee
So, I am now a member of PMI institution (Not to mention the dent on my pocket). It took me couple of hours to fill out the application and credentials. After all the hard work, I have been asked to wait for a week to know whether I am ‘qualified’ to take my PMP Certification Exam.
